SUMMIT CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES
ROUND 1 - MARCH 20-22

SAMRC

The Summit Racing Championship is a motorsport series designed with real‑world racers in mind. We understand that competition must balance passion with the demands of work, business, and family life, so the Championship delivers a streamlined, time‑efficient format that makes racing more accessible than ever.

Each round is structured to maximise on‑track value, giving competitors an efficient yet rewarding race experience. Drivers enjoy extensive track time through practice, qualifying, and multiple races in one tightly run schedule, all supported by The Bend’s award‑winning hospitality. Between sessions, competitors can relax, reset, and connect with fellow racers in a comfortable, well‑organised environment, ensuring every event is both productive and enjoyable.

ELIGIBILITY

Eligibility

The Summit Racing Championship is tailored for non‑professional competitors and drivers ready to progress from track days into structured, competitive circuit racing. Clear class distinctions ensure drivers race among similar machinery and experience levels, with categories accommodating a wide range of vehicles across multiple generations. Each class runs its own points structure, with trophies awarded to the top three competitors, rewarding consistency, performance, and progression throughout the season.

Celebrating nearly 60 years of competition, Formula Vee continues its proud legacy into the 2026 season as part of South Australia’s premier circuit racing program. Powered by the original 1200cc or 1600cc air‑cooled Volkswagen engine and built around the classic 4‑speed gearbox with VW‑derived front and rear suspension, these iconic open‑wheelers will feature across four championship events throughout 2026.
