2027 AUSTRALIAN SUPERBIKE CHAMPIONSHIP: Round 2
The Bend will host round two of the 2027 Penrite Australian Superbike Championship presented by Pirelli (ASBK) on November 13-15, 2026.
The Tailem Bend-based circuit has produced superb racing over recent years, where the likes of Jack Miller, Senna Agius, Joel Kelso, Josh Hook, Marcel Schrötter and Kyle Ryde have all contested ASBK events.
The Bend, officially opened in 2018, is one of the premier circuits in the world. The 18-turn international layout used in the ASBK Championship provides massive variety – blind turns, sweeping corners, hard braking zones and areas for maximum acceleration – which makes it anything but a walk in the park. It’s the degree of difficulty which makes it such a formidable challenge for riders and a bonanza for spectators.
The infrastructure, corporate and spectator facilities at The Bend are world class, which means all the off-track ASBK activities – welcome centre displays, fan zone, the ASBK Trade Alley, ‘Mini Moto come and try’ sessions, autograph sessions and pitlane walks – are also extremely popular.
The huge welcome centre also hosts ASBK press conferences for the fans, and accommodation is also available on site at the 100-room Rydges Pit Lane Hotel and cabins and camping at The Bend Big4 Holiday Park – as well as options for all budgets across Tailem Bend and towns close to the Murray River.
ABOUT THE EVENT
ASBK arrives at a critical moment in the 2026 season. After trading race wins in Sydney, Harrison Voight leads the standings, but only just, with Josh Waters and Jacob Roulstone close behind. With the top three separated by just points, Round 3 at The Bend looms as a major pivot in the championship fight, where momentum could swing and the title picture could change dramatically. This is not a filler round - it’s where the season could turn
