The OTR SuperSprint records biggest crowd since 2018

In the first week of a 10-year partnership the Shell V-Power Motorsport Park has recorded its biggest crowd since the inaugural OTR SuperSprint in 2018 with a total attendance of 41,237 up from 37,636 in 2022.


It was a new look OTR SuperSprint with the revamped ‘Town Square’ concept proving an astounding success and the Rocking the Murray Concert featuring The Choirboys and Kingswood entertaining the crowd on Saturday night. The concert was a huge addition for the 2500 people staying on-site during the event.

The relocation of the podium and the introduction of the Welcome Centre walkthrough also proved successful and are traditions The Bend will look to continue in 2024.


As for the Supercars action it was a clean sweep for Coca-Cola Racings Brodie Kostecki on return from Nascar duties in Indianapolis last weekend taking 3 race wins and retaining the championship lead.


The support categories provided plenty of action with carnage in the final V8 Superutes and Porsche Carrera Cup races of the weekend proving the unfortunate highlights for spectators.
