US Automotive retail giant, Summit Racing Equipment was today announced as the new naming rights partner of the ‘Summit Championship Series’.  Comprised of six-events across both The Bend and Mallala, the Summit Championship Series will feature over fifteen State and National categories from across Australia, including TCR Australia.

The partnership marks a significant milestone for both organisations, being Summit Racing Equipment’s first foray into circuit racing anywhere in the world. As naming rights partner, Summit will play a central role in supporting the growth, visibility, and long-term sustainability of The Bend’s premier circuit racing championship, reinforcing the company’s ongoing commitment to motorsport in South Australia.

“Partnering with The Bend is a natural fit for us at Summit Racing Equipment. We have loved working closely with the team to help deliver drag racing events each year, we are now even more excited to be expanding out to the Motorsport Circuit to help deliver the Summit Championship”

The continuation of Summit’s support for Dragway at The Bend, alongside its new naming rights role with the Motor Racing Circuit reflects a broader, long-term commitment to motorsport participation, competition pathways, and fan engagement at The Bend.

Alistair Macdonald- CEO Shell V-Power Motorsport Park

“Summit has been a great partner of The Bend for the last 3 years at The Dragway, we are excited to partner further with Jim and the team for another 3 years, expanding our partnership to now incorporate the Summit Series at our racing circuit.  The Bend is fast becoming one of the favourite tracks amongst motoring enthusiasts and Summit is the perfect partner.”

The Summit Championship Series will showcase Australia’s widest range of State & National motorsport categories and competitors, delivering high-quality racing on an enhanced platform for teams, drivers, and commercial partners. The partnership reflects a shared vision between Summit Racing Equipment and The Bend to elevate motorsport’s profile and audience reach, with free spectator entry, lunchtime ‘cruise the track’ experiences and a comprehensive live stream & broadcast package for competitors.

Summit Racing Equipment is widely recognised as a global leader in high-performance automotive parts and racing products, with a strong history of supporting motorsport at all levels. Their expanded involvement across drag racing and now circuit racing, further strengthens the commercial and competitive foundations of the Summit Championship Series.
