August 2018 marked the inaugural OTR SuperSprint at The Bend Motorsport Park.
One hundred and forty-eight competitors and more than 41,000 spectators flocked to the area for two days of motor racing, entertainment and activities which were also broadcast live nationally.
More than 350 Confederation of Australian Motor Sports volunteers and officials were involved in the setup and delivery of this three-day event, with plans of it to become an annual event on the South Australian Sports calendar.
As a result of its success, the event is a finalist in the SA Sport Awards (Significant Event category) which are being presented next week!
