When is the Supercars event?
The Supercars event will be on the 24-26 August, 2018.
What is the race format?
The Bend Supercars race format will be a SuperSprint. Supercars are yet to confirm race formats for 2018 however the 2017 SuperSprint format was 1x 120 km race on Saturday and 1 x 200 km race on Sunday.
Which track will Supercars be racing on?
Supercars will compete on the 4.9 kilometre International Circuit with 18 turns and aggregate elevation change of 55 metres. The Bend racing circuit is designed to comply with the latest FIA Category 2 standards. The race direction is clockwise.
Much of the International Circuit is 15 metres wide, promoting passing opportunities and innovative racing lines. Downhill sections such as turns 7, 8 and 9 favour the brave as it drops 10 metres over a horizontal distance of 300 metres. Major passing opportunities are likely to be at Turn 1-2, Turn 6 hairpin and Turn 17 with other potential opportunities through the Turn 14-15 complex.
What will be the support race categories?

The Supercars will be supported by;

  • Kumho Tyre V8 Touring Car Series
  • Aussie Racing Cars Championship
  • Toyota 86 Racing Series
  • Formula Ford National Series 
  • Porsche Wilson Security Carrera Cup Australia

Will there be concerts?
The event will be an entertainment extravaganza which will include evening entertainment that will be announced closer to the event.
How many visitors are expected for the Supercars event?
The event is expected to attract over 50,000 visitors.

Will there be ‘Park n View’ tickets?
Yes. Park n View tickets are purchased in addition to a General Admission ticket and will be available closer to the event once layouts and capacity for Park n View have been finalised.
Will there be reserved viewing platforms like at the Adelaide 500 (Clipsal)?
The Bend has been designed with raised viewing mounds at key viewing locations around the circuit providing many excellent viewing options for general admission ticket holders. There may be limited premium viewing deck options on the pit building, however these have not been released yet.
Will there be corporate hospitality tickets?
Yes. There will be multiple corporate hospitality options available soon for both shared and exclusive facilties.
Will companion card be accepted?
I have an introductory membership – do I get a discount, or can I trade in my purchase price?
No. Introductory members are entitled to a $39 rebate for our 2018 memberships. These memberships include General Admission access to The Bend Supersprint and can be found here
How do I get there?
The Bend Motorsport Park is located at the intersection of the Mallee and Dukes Highways. Approximate travel times by road are 1 hour from Adelaide and 6 hours from Melbourne.
There will be a shuttle bus service available from several pickup points in Adelaide for those who do not want to drive.
Will there be camping?
Yes. The bend can cater for over 10,000 people camping on site. You may register your interest for a campsite when purchasing a ticket.
Can I book a hotel room for the event?
Not yet. However you may register your interest in booking a hotel room when purchasing a ticket.
