Scheduled to open in late 2018, The Bend Motorsport Park’s Drift Kart Rallycross Circuit is a multi-purpose facility, being built specifically for these three main disciplines. The surrounding mounds provide stadium like viewing where patrons can see every inch of the action.

Kart Drift Rallycross Circuit Layout

The drift track is a purpose designed track within the Kart Drift Rallycross Circuit.

This dedicated drift facility is one of a kind in Australia, featuring many different layouts and unique elements designed for national events, Matsuri and local competition.

The first layout is a fast, challenging and flowing course. The second is a very technical course with off camber sections. Both variants are configurable.

In addition, the drift facility will be used for:

  • drift practice and testing
  • drift schools
  • gymkhana
  • private hire
  • junior driver training

The drift track in total will feature approximately 2.2kms of roads, generally 6m wide and with a range of configurations. This allows for two drift events to be run simultaneously. It was designed in consultation with various local and international competitors.

The Karting circuit will be a world class facility offering both competitive and fun driving experiences.

The design of the circuit is to CIK-FIA international standards. It will feature fast and technical sections as well as undulations.

The pit and paddock area will be completely bituminised and include lockable garages and carports. Additionally, the multi-function race control building includes a party room, vending machines, arcade games and spectator viewing areas.

The karting track will be over 1km in length and features multiple layouts including a junior track for younger children.

Rallycross is the fastest growing form of motorsport in the world.

Featuring both tarmac & dirt, multiple jumps, a water splash and joker laps, The Bend’s rallycross circuit will be its home in South Australia!
